At The Garden Shop, we want you to be completely satisfied with your gardening purchases. If for any reason you’re not happy with your bamboo grow lights, garden tools, or outdoor furniture, we offer a straightforward returns and exchanges process.

Our Return Policy

You may return most items within 15 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return:

  • Item must be unused and in its original packaging
  • Proof of purchase is required
  • Certain items are non-returnable (see below)

Non-Returnable Items

For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Flower Seeds, Fruit Seeds & Herb Seeds (opened packages)
  • Fertilizers (opened containers)
  • Insect Controls & Animal Controls (regulated products)
  • Grow Light Bulbs (if packaging is opened)

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Contact Us: Email [email protected] within 15 days of delivery with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Wait for Approval: Our team will review your request within 2 business days and provide return instructions.
  3. Package Your Item: Securely pack the item in its original packaging with all accessories.
  4. Ship It Back: Send the package to our Nashville facility using a trackable shipping method.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product). For exchanges, we’ll cover the cost of shipping the replacement item to you.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Timing: Refunds are processed within 5 business days
  • Method: Funds will be returned to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Deductions: Original shipping fees are non-refundable, and a restocking fee may apply for large items like dining tables & sets

Exchange Policy

Prefer to exchange your garden bench for a different color? No problem! Exchanges are subject to product availability. If your desired item is out of stock, we’ll issue a refund instead.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your grow light fixtures or garden tools arrive damaged, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
